MID-COUNTY HOUSING RESOURCE CENTER
Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Program (HPRP)
Congress designated $1.5 billion for the creation of the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing
Program (HPRP). The Mid-County Housing Resource Center is a partnership between Building Futures with Women and Children (lead partner), Davis Street Family Resource Center, Abode Services, ECHO Housing, and Eden I&R.
HPRP is focused on housing for homeless and at-risk households. It provides
temporary financial assistance and housing relocation and stabilization services to individuals and
families who are homeless or would be homeless but for this assistance.
Mid-County Resource Center is currently accepting referrals from residents of the following service
areas:
- Alameda
- Castro Valley
- San Leandro
- San Lorenzo
Residents of these areas can dial 2-1-1 for additional information.
Due to overwhelming response to this program, referrals are NOT being accepted currently in the
following services area(s).
Please check back with us periodically for updates. |
