Crisis Line: 1-866-A-WAY-OUT

About the Crisis Line

At the core of Building Futures services is the Crisis Line—Certified volunteer and staff offer telephone services providing intakes for all three of our shelters, outside referrals, resources and telephone counseling services. The Crisis line is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

At any time of the day or night, the Crisis Line is available to single women or women with children who are in crisis, who need shelter, resources, a word of encouragement, need someone to listen or who just need help finding a way to cope.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of BFWC. We are always looking for volunteers for the Crisis Line; however, Crisis line volunteers are required to go through our 40–hour Domestic Violence Counselor Training in order to receive their certification.
